Thank you for participating in our 5k last year!  We hope you will join us again this year on September 7, 2008 at the Domain Shopping Center for our 3rd Annual Speak Up For Kids CASA 5k & Kids 1k! 

Put on your favorite running or walking shoes and join us for a morning of fun and healthy living!  This event will benefit CASA of Travis County (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in their efforts to recruit and train community volunteers to give a voice to abused and neglected children in the court and foster care system.  This year's theme is Healthy Kids - Eat, Read, Exercise and Live Healthy!  In addition to the 5k and Kids 1k races, there will be lots of fun activities for the entire family and plenty of opportunities to learn about healthy living!  Join us for a moon bounce, kids yoga, cooking classes, police horses and much more!

New this year – race participants can raise money for CASA!  We are asking each runner to raise as much money as possible to reach our $50,000 goal.  Prizes will be awarded at the levels of $50, $100, $250, $500 and a $500 gift certificate to Krugers Diamond Jewelers in Barton Creek Mall will be given to the runner that raises the most money!  When you register for the race online, a fundraising page will be automatically created for you.
